It’s New Year’s Eve! What a big deal!!!
It’s always good to have something bubble up! Let’s open a bottle of champagne!
Going through the cabinet of booze, we found this nice bottle of champagne, Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle. This was a wedding gift from one of my best friend, I didn’t find a chance to open it, as I always want to save it for later, should always try to save the best for last, no? Now it’s the New Year’s Eve to welcome 2016, maybe it’s about time to open it.
2015 was kind of tough for us, I believe 2016 should have a good start and should be a good year!!! So, why don’t we start with a nice bottle of Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle?
Grand Siècle Grande Cuvée Champagne is Laurent Perrier’s luxury cuvée. At the Palace of Versailles Louis XIV was the first French King to drink Champagne. Louis XIV’s era became known as the Grand Siècle – the “Great Century”. Bottled in a replica of a 17th Century bottle evoking the radiance of that period, Laurent Perrier’s prestige Cuvée embodies luxury, magnificence and elegance. A blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. “For the Rolls-Royce of Champagne blending you can’t go much higher than Laurent-Perrier’s luxury Cuvée Grand Siècle. It will please serious drinkers with it’s delicate balance and honeyed, hazelnut flavours.” Anthony Quinn, Esquire Magazine, January 2008 96 Points.
